WiLDCOAST - YEAR 2005

Resized_image

WiLDCOAST goes after the black market demand for sea turtle eggs and meat by enlisting Playboy cover girl Dorismar in a global conservation campaign featured in the New York Times. Campaign materials and messages with the model in a provocative pose stating “My man doesn’t eat sea turtle eggs because he knows they will not make him more potent” is a global hit and called the “best ocean campaign in human history” by critics. WiLDCOAST expands its “Clean Water Now” campaign with the support of public health foundations.  WiLDCOAST helps carry out a 140,000-acre conservation easement in Laguna San Ignacio, a story also covered by the New York Times and carries out 10 conservation easements in Bahia de los Angels.
