WiLDCOAST and High Tech High Chula Vista Team Up for Conservation PDF Print E-mail
Thanks to a grant from HP, WiLDCOAST and High Tech High Chula Vista teamed up to help build public awareness about the Otay Valley Regional Park and the importance of protecting it.

Through this partnership, we were able to engage 9 teacher and their classes in conservation efforts in the Otay Valley Regional Park (OVRP), a 9,000-acre open space park in south San Diego County. More than 10 service learning projects were completed, including several park cleanups, the creation of a magazine for the OVRP, a virtual tour of the park, an environmental education fair, mapping of the park trails, lakes, and trash, and more.

Thanks to HP for helping to make this project a reality and to High Tech High/Middle teachers, staff, and students for their amazing efforts.
